Class 1 - Storytime with Kendra Preston
Listen to this charming story from Kendra Preston, told as a loving mother would. Savvy and Maddy are two friends in art class who cooperate to make a painting together. Join them as they discover the uncomfortable feelings this experience uncovers.
Book Club Questions:
- Have you ever had to work with a classmate, brother or sister, friend or on a team? Was it easy or hard? Did it make you happy or sad?
- If you could fly on a plane and you could go anywhere you wanted to, where would you go and why?
- What is your favorite place? Why?
Activity:
Use a piece of paper and pencil, crayons or paint to make a picture of your favorite place. Kendra also has some coloring sheets you can print at home and color. Our Printable Projects series contains other art activities for Elementary and Middle School students.
