Why Volta?
In a piece of music, “volta” highlights specific moments in time. At this moment in time, some of these young artists and musicians have been waiting patiently to perform again after many months of isolation. Others will be performing on stage or showing their personal artwork to the public for the first time.
Our art and rock band students are ready to shine and we are excited to come together and present them for the world to see!
The Volta Youth Music & Art Festival will be scaled back a bit this year due to the pandemic but will still feature the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy’s eight youth bands including blues, ’80s, pop, heavy metal, and country. Plus, our talented student artists will display and sell their work to the public. Your support ensures that this event will shine like no other with one unified goal, supporting our incredible kids.
