The VOLTA Youth Music and Arts Festival is truly a community event. Students from the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy's Rock Band Program have an amazing opportunity to perform for friends, family, and their community on the NewBo City Market stage. The skills they learn through this performance opportunity are enhanced by the support and mentorship they receive from the local, professional musicians we have at EIAA as our Rock Band directors. This year we have expanded the arts representation at the festival. Our art students will be displaying and selling their artwork throughout the event alongside the professional artists who instruct the students.
This community event depends on sponsorships from local businesses and individuals. If you would like to help develop the next generation of musicians who make Cedar Rapids a vibrant arts community, please consider being a sponsor.
